This is a superior publication for anyone setting up or operating a recirculation aquaculture system. The book covers every aspect of the subject and is a “must have” for recirculation aquaculturalists.
Fish Hatchery Management Second Edition, Edited by Gary A. Wedemeyer; American Fisheries Society, Bethesda, Maryland; 2001. The publication contains a wide variety of information dealing with water quality, water filtration systems, ponds and water supply, recirculation systems, nutrition and feeding, fish health and diseases and much more. This is an excellent reference and “how to” book every fish hatchery should have.

This booklet is out of print, but can still be obtained free by calling the Rare Books Library at Cornell University. If your going to raise bait of any kind in ponds, this booklet is a “must have”. It is frequently sighted in research articles on bait fish and pond culture.
